Cheyenne's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past the Eldorado Firehawks with a 47-43 win. The Desert Shields' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cheyenne's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacquline Soncini, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Soncini a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elissa Sambo, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 steals.

Eldorado lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jasmine Rodriquez, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 12 points.

Cheyenne's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Eldorado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Cheyenne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-9 loss against Somerset Academy Losee on the 24th. As for Eldorado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-46 victory against Southeast Career Tech on the 24th.
