Volleyball Recap: Foothills Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Del Lago Academy on Monday, Foothills Christian came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Classical Academy Caimans by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Caimans: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Foothills Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Olivia Morr had seven digs and two aces. Morr is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Foothills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Classical Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-7.

Foothills Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Rock Academy on the 21st. As for Classical Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Escondido Charter on the 21st.
