The Music Mountain Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 79-41 loss at the hands of Basis.
It was another big night for Jack Engelthaler, who shot 7-for-14 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 39 points and 14 rebounds for Basis. The game was Engelthaler's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Quiroz, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Music Mountain's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Basis, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Music Mountain will be home for the holidays to greet Grand Canyon at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Canyon comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Basis will take on Wingate in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at.
