Basketball Recap: Chilton Skates Past New Holstein with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chilton). They blew past the New Holstein Huskies 78-26 on Thursday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Huskies are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chilton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for New Holstein, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Chilton will be home for the holidays to greet Sheboygan Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chilton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. New Holstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
