Micah Coffey put up the best numbers in passing as Batavia topped Streamwood. He finished with a total of 12 completions for 203 yards and 5 touchdowns. Coffey's favorite target this week was Rourke Mullins, who caught 3 passes for 86 yards.
Tj Miller was the best running back in Upstate Eight - River this week. He ran for 207 yards on 31 carries as the Vikings lost to Neuqua Valley. Teammate Maxwell Woodworth added to the ground attack by rushing for 147 yards.
Hopper was the best receiver in the league this week as the Fighting Saints fell to the Wildcats. Hopper tallied 10 receptions for 112 yards. Brannon Barry helped East's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 69 yards.
David Mason was a key player and the best on defense this week as East fell to Neuqua Valley. He.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Pace Temple. The Geneva star has 17 catches for 369 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mike Fields' team takes on the Maroons. At the moment, the Fighting Saints are in first, while Elgin is in seventh.
