Trinity got themselves on the board against Independent on Friday, but Independent never followed suit. Everything came up roses for Trinity against Independent as the squad secured a 52-0 victory. The Trinity offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
The win bumped Trinity's record up to 5-1. Independent are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Trinity take on Remington at 7:00 PM. Remington took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Trinity's good fortune. As for Independent, they will face off against Garden Plain. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
