For Carrizo Springs, this counts as revenge for the 72-44 defeat Somerset walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Carrizo Springs got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adisyn Reyes out in front who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Reyes' third in a row with at least ten points. Paulina Lira was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten rebounds.
Carrizo Springs' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8. As for Somerset, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.
Carrizo Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Pearsall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset, they will head out on the road to face off against Pleasanton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
