The North White Vikings's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against Tri-Township by a score of 45-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as North White also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Dane Hood was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Hood, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Tri-Township still got an impressive performance from Dillon Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Stewart's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Isaiah Bartels was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three steals.
The victory got North White back to even at 3-3. As for Tri-Township, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North White and Tri-County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tri-County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Tri-Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Boone Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Boone Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
