Green Sea Floyds has struggled against Aynor recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Green Sea Floyds lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shantavia Hilliard. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Hilliard.
Terianna Richardson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Aynor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Richardson set a new season high mark in blocks with five. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Page, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Green Sea Floyds has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Aynor, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Green Sea Floyds and Johnsonville will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
