Clifton won the last time they faced Passaic and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Indians 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Clifton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Passaic, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Clifton will square off against Passaic County Tech at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Passaic, they will head out on the road to challenge Dwight Morrow at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
