After a string of three wins, the Grace Christian Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to Westminster Christian Academy 63-57. While losing is never fun, Grace Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Westminster Christian Academy is ranked 75th).
Westminster Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brock Stomps, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Andres, who scored 15 points.
Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Westminster Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on False River at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Gueydan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
