Elkton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Glasgow Dragons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 253rd in Maryland, while Glasgow is ranked 53rd in Delaware).
Last Monday, Elkton came up short against C. Milton Wright and fell 44-36. Elkton has struggled against C. Milton Wright recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their loss, Elkton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. LeeAnn Pugh, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Jefferson, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Glasgow's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Howard 89-5. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Glasgow has scored all season.
Elkton's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Glasgow, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
