Despite the loss, Magee still got an impressive performance from Nicole Sandifer, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That was a full 46.9% of Magee's points, marking the 29th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zylynda Funches, who scored 11 points.
Jefferson Davis County's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Magee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-18.
Jefferson Davis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Magee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Magee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
