The Wekiva Mustangs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lake Brantley Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th.
Wekiva fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Ocoee on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Knights 33-28.
Despite the defeat, Wekiva saw an underclassman step up: Jasmine Pooler scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Lake Brantley strolled past University with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-27. The victory was just what Lake Brantley needed coming off of a 60-24 defeat in their prior game.
Wekiva's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lake Brantley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
