Saranac was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on the Lakeview Wildcats with a sharp 13-2 victory. The Redhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Saranac and bumps their season record up to 6-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Lakeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saranac will welcome Central Montcalm at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeview, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
