Shoshoni has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will square off against the Big Piney Punchers at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Shoshoni is ranked 53rd, while Big Piney is ranked 39th).
Last Saturday, Shoshoni came up short against Meeteetse and fell 52-45. That's two games in a row now that Shoshoni has lost by exactly seven points.
Meanwhile, Big Piney's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 64-55 to Big Horn. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Shoshoni now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Big Piney, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Shoshoni skirted past Big Piney 40-37 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shoshoni since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
