Basketball Recap: East Noble Skates Past New Haven with Ease

East Noble's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed by the New Haven Bulldogs to the tune of 61-27. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 29 points or more this season.

East Noble got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rian David out in front who went 6 for 9 on her way to 17 points and three steals. Averi Amstutz was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

East Noble was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Haven only posted five assists.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Monty Sk, who posted four points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayzon Win, who had nine points.

East Noble's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for New Haven, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

East Noble didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-41 defeat against Fort Wayne Northrop on the 10th. As for New Haven, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-21 loss against Huntington North on the 13th.
