The Lindbergh Flyers will face off against the Fox Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lindbergh will be strutting in after a victory while Fox will be coming in after a loss.
Lindbergh is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Northwest 18-8 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Flyers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Austin Jones made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Lindbergh: the team is 4-1-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 11-13-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, Lindbergh let Jon Calcaterra and CJ Luczak run wild. Calcaterra went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Luczak got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Calcaterra is becoming a predictor of Lindbergh's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 12-14-2 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jack Politte, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Lindbergh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest only posted an OBP of .444.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Fox and Mehlville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors came up short against the Panthers on Monday, falling 12-6. The Warriors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Fox's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Lindbergh, they now have a winning record of 15-14-2.
Everything went Lindbergh's way against Fox in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Lindbergh made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
