On Thursday, St. James put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 52-8 win over Central Virginia Disciples.
St. James found St. James's leader in underclassman sophomore Jacob Dugas, who passed for 213 yards and 5 touchdowns. Osinga has been a consistent playmaker for St. James as this was the 4th good game in a row from him. Sophomore Jacob Dugas was in the mix, too, providing St. James with five touchdowns.
The victory bumped St. James' record up to 5-2. Central Virginia Disciples are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week St. James take on Flint Hill at 3:00 PM. Central Virginia Disciples looks to establish their home field advantage as they take on Central Maryland Christian Crusaders at 7:00 PM.
