The Cody Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Center Line Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cody is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Last Tuesday, Cody slipped by Southeastern 51-50.
Meanwhile, Center Line got the win against Lamphere on Friday by a conclusive 66-41. Given Center Line's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Lamphere is ranked 490th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Terez Holmes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameren Broughton, who scored 12 points.
Cody is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Center Line, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
