There's no place like home for Lecanto, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Citrus Hurricanes a 6-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by five goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Citrus from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. EMMA BLAIS led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lecanto's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Citrus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-2.

Lecanto didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Nature Coast Tech on the 16th. Citrus has also already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Crystal River on the 17th.
