Caldwell hadn't done well against South Haven recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bluejays walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bluejays as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Kennedy Lowery paced Caldwell's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lowery got some help from Ava Newell and her 18 assists. Ella Risley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Caldwell's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for South Haven, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-22-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Caldwell will take on rival Sedan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, South Haven is set to challenge their familiar foe Argonia on Tuesday.
