Basketball Recap: North Hills Christian Comes Up Short

North Hills Christian played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Lee Christian Falcons 84-42. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-27.

Adarion Hawkins and Maverick Ball certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hawkins posted 11 points, while Ball went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The contest was Ball's tenth in a row with at least ten points.

Lee Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Brown led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Brown is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Christian Wilson, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 24 points.
