The New Canaan Rams's game on Tuesday was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stamford. While losing is never fun, New Canaan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Black Knights are ranked 17th).
Leading Stamford to victory were Ejai Presley and Ryan Connors. Presley scored 15 points, while Connors scored 16 points.
New Canaan's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Stamford, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
New Canaan will be playing at home against the Blue Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stamford, they will head out on the road to face off against the Vikings at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westhill has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
