Volleyball Recap: Kerens Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Kerens unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Itasca Wampus Cats. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wampus Cats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While Kerens was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-22.

Kerens now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Itasca, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Kerens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Italy on the 30th. As for Itasca, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Benbrook on the 30th.
