Ramsey and DePaul Catholic are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Ramsey Rams will head out on the road to face off against the DePaul Catholic Spartans at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ramsey will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Tuesday, Ramsey strolled past West Milford with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. Given Ramsey's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while West Milford is ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Even though DePaul Catholic has not done well against West Milford recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. DePaul Catholic skirted past West Milford 32-30. The win was just what DePaul Catholic needed coming off of a 49-19 loss in their prior matchup.
Ramsey's record is now 3-0. As for DePaul Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything came up roses for Ramsey against DePaul Catholic when the teams last played back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 54-22 win. Does Ramsey have another victory up their sleeve, or will DePaul Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
