St. Raphael Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Julius, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns. Jalen Antoine was another key contributor, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown.
St. Raphael Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Ian Bing and his 2.5 sacks.
St. Raphael Academy's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.3 points per game. As for South Kingstown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Raphael Academy will take on Barrington at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Barrington is ranked third, while St. Raphael Academy is ranked tenth). South Kingstown will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on North Kingstown at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd.
