It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Bryant Hornets can now relate to. They lost to the Tigers on the road by a decisive 52-35 margin on Friday. Bryant's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Bryant lost, one person who can't be blamed is Myron Thrash jr. Despite the final result, he rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Thrash jr really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run. James Martin also helped out as he racked up 139 rushing yards.
Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Bentonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Bryant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bentonville will be staying on the road on December 2nd to face off against Fayetteville at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Fayetteville is ranked third, while Bentonville is ranked fourth).
