Rocky River lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Ross, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 21 points and six boards. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Walton, who went 6-for-9 en route to 13 points along with six assists and four steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Butler to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reece Starnes, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 21 points and seven rebounds. Rocky River's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
Rocky River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Butler, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-61 victory against Charlotte Catholic on the 20th.
