The Westside Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Pickens on the road to the tune of 97-36. Winning may never get old, but Westside sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Joshua Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 44 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeke Marshall, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Pickens' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Eli Doty, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, and Brett Batson who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Westside is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Pickens, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.
Westside will be playing at home against Midland Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westside has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 448 points over their last six contests. Pickens does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
