Summit Christian Academy may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will face off against Dewar in a playoff matchup on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 17.82, Dewar 10.73), so any points scored will be well earned.
A well-balanced attack led the Eagles over Prue every single quarter on their way to victory. Summit Christian Academy took their contest last week with ease, bagging a 52-12 victory over Prue. Wyatt Austin had a stellar game for Summit Christian Academy as he picked up 83 yards on the ground on seven carries and threw three passing touchdowns. In fact, with 21 tackles Austin was a force on both sides of the ball.
Summit Christian Academy's defense was a presence as well, and it made life painful for the quarterback and embarrassed Prue's offensive line for a total of 28 sacks. Leading the way was Landon Foster and his six sacks.
Meanwhile, Dewar earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last Friday. They were totally in charge, breezing past Wetumka 55-8. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the Dragons are ranked far ahead of Wetumka in the MaxPreps rankings.
With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality game. Watch the contest and check back on MaxPreps.com for all the details.
