The Fulshear Chargers and the Shadow Creek Sharks will round out the year against one another at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday at. Fulshear is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Fulshear has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Terry 66-25 on the road. That looming 66-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Fulshear yet this season.
Fulshear got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ruke Ogbevire out in front who scored 18 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. The contest was Ogbevire's 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jada Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-21, which was the final score in Shadow Creek's tilt against Pearland on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Shadow Creek has scored all season.
Fulshear pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Shadow Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Fulshear was dealt a bruising 79-10 defeat at the hands of Shadow Creek in their previous meeting back in November of 2017. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fulshear was down 45-3.
