Pelion lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zyan Davis, who scored seven points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Lucas New, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Batesburg-Leesville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kd Whitt, who scored six points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jr Stewart, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Pelion has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.
Pelion will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Silver Bluff at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Silver Bluff focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. Batesburg-Leesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
