Buford has gone a perfect 5-0 against Central Gwinnett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Black Knights at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Buford's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six games.

Buford is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Dacula: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolves blew the Falcons out of the water with a 58-7 final score. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won six in a row.

Dayton Raiola was his usual excellent self, throwing for 183 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Dylan McCoy was another key player, rushing for 92 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

Buford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Central Gwinnett made sure to put some points up on the board against Mountain View on Thursday. The Black Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bears 47-17. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Black Knights' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Buford better keep an eye on Christian Peal. He was instrumental in Central Gwinnett's win, rushing for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Buford's record is now 7-0. As for Central Gwinnett, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Everything came up roses for Buford against Central Gwinnett in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
