There's no place like home for the Eastside Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past Flowery Branch with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-39. That's another feather in the cap for Eastside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Eastside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jailyn Williams led the charge by scoring 21 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Morgan Sandema, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Eastside pushed their record up to 13-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Flowery Branch, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Eastside will head out on the road to take on the Bulldoggs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Winder-Barrow will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Eagles are ranked 144th). As for Flowery Branch, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m.
