Eastern Lebanon County hasn't had much luck against Lampeter-Strasburg recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Raiders will face off against the Pioneers at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Eastern Lebanon County gave up the first  points on Friday,  but they didn't give up any more after. They came out on top against Octorara Area by a score of  21-13. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Eastern Lebanon County can attribute much of their success to  Brinley Donmoyer, who rushed for 37 yards and one  score, and also picked up 36 receiving yards.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lampeter-Strasburg). They claimed a resounding  59-13 victory over Northern Lebanon. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pioneers' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Vikings are ranked 406th).
Eastern Lebanon County better keep an eye on  Asher Jones. He was instrumental in Lampeter-Strasburg's win, rushing for 53 yards and one  touchdown, while also throwing for 97 yards and one  TD. Another big playmaker for they was  Alex Salaki, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
 Lampeter-Strasburg was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 242  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
 Special teams  played a big role in the game for Lampeter-Strasburg, adding 23 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Salaki, who ran a punt back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a kickoff return touchdown from  Brady Cunningham.
 Lampeter-Strasburg's record now sits at 6-1. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 3-4.
 Eastern Lebanon County was taken down by Lampeter-Strasburg 42-7 when the teams last played  back in November of 2024. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Raiders were down  42-0.
