Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Notre Dame). They were the clear victors by  a  17-6 margin over the Castilleja Gators on Friday. The  win continues a trend for the Regents in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won nine in a row.
 Cru Malate-Wells was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with five  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  U'Ilani Wells also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
 Malate-Wells wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Notre Dame  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. Notre Dame is  a perfect 3-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Notre Dame now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Castilleja, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
