Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Oasis Sharks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 14-7 to Saint Stephen's Episcopal on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, Oasis couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the loss, Oasis had strong showings from Frederick Harley jr., who rushed for 158 yards, and Colin Anderson, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Evan Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown. Brown has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played.
Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
