After three games on the road, Greendale is heading back home. They will take on the Pewaukee Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greendale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Pewaukee is ranked seventh).
Last Thursday, Greendale ended up a good deal behind Wisconsin Lutheran and lost 70-52. Greendale has not had much luck with Wisconsin Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite their loss, Greendale saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Peyton Yoder, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Greta Dombrowski was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Pewaukee put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Homestead 67-53.
Their wins bumped Greendale to 2-3 and Wisconsin Lutheran to 3-4.
Greendale was dealt a bruising 81-40 loss at the hands of Pewaukee in their previous matchup back in February. Will Greendale have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
