The Hun Raiders will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm at 4:30 p.m. Hun will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Hun is ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Rams. Hun put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 64-43 victory. The victory was just what Hun needed coming off of a 88-40 loss in their prior contest.
Hun relied on the efforts of Amira Pinkett, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Gabby D'Agostino, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and five assists. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which D'Agostino has scored at least a third of Hun's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Jolly, who scored four points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Mercersburg Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to Hill School.
Hun's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Mercersburg Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-6.
