Granger were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Cle Elum-Roslyn 52-6. Granger were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Granger started the matchup off right with 26 first-half points. Meanwhile, Cle Elum-Roslyn couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 26-0 heading into the break. Granger put the match away in the third quarter with 18 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Granger will take on Naches Valley at home at 7:00 PM next week. Those two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they will face off against La Salle. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
