Beulah had lost seven straight, but after bumping their record up to 9-9 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Dadeville Tigers 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since March 2nd.

Hunter Duval was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Beulah got a massive performance out of Devin Suggs, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs Suggs has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Braydon Tapley, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
As for Dadeville, they dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Even though they lost, their still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
On Dadeville's side, Colin Pearson led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The Tigers are 2-1 when Pearson posts two or more runs, but 10-11 otherwise. Davis McKelvey was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
