The Green Bobcats will challenge the St. Joseph Central Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Green is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
Green's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Eastern with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Landon Kimbler was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Conner Blanton was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Central lost 11-4 to Clay last Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Flyers have suffered against the Panthers since April 28, 2021.
St. Joseph Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Neal, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Neal is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Evan Aldridge, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.
Green's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Green has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like St. Joseph Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Green's way against St. Joseph Central in their previous meeting on April 10th, as Green made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Flyers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
