Lake Stevens is 2-7 against Arlington since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Vikings will take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Lake Stevens has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Monday, it was close, but Lake Stevens sidestepped Jackson for a 3-2 victory. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won four in a row.

04/11/25 @ Snohomish | 6 |
Luke Morris tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Blake Moser was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
Arlington couldn't beat Cascade on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 8-6.
Cy Bradley was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.
At the plate, Jace Graham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Lake Stevens pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lake Stevens has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Arlington struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Lake Stevens came up short against Arlington in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, falling 10-6. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
