Alvin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Manvel Mavericks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2016.

The victory got Alvin back to even at 8-8. As for Manvel, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Alvin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mavericks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
