Mitchell Made His Presence Known in Leander's 44-35 Victory
Starting off the list is Leander's Logan Mitchell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mitchell rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns.
Leander now has a winning record of 3-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions takes on Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keaton Gordon Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Keaton Gordon posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Glenn over Leander on Friday. Gordon rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Glenn is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. Gordon and Glenn will face off against Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jett Walker Turns in Another Game with at Least 108 Rushing Yards
Jett Walker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Georgetown to the win on Friday. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.
Georgetown's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Walker and Georgetown will venture away from home to take on Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Underclassman David Cooper Comes Up Big Against Rouse
While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Friday was David Cooper. He turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 117 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.
Cedar Park now has a winning record of 3-2. Cooper and Cedar Park will face off against East View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Morgan Came Up Big in Rouse's 35-25 Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is London Morgan of Rouse. Morgan threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.5% of his passes.
Rouse's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. Morgan and Rouse will challenge Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
