After a string of six wins, the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Attica. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wheatland-Chili has scored all season.

That was a full 60% of Wheatland-Chili's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Schwenebraten, who scored 11 points.
Wheatland-Chili's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Attica, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Wheatland-Chili will head out on the road to face off against Caledonia-Mumford at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Attica will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th.
