Basketball Recap: Liberty North Extends Winning Streak to Three

Liberty North entered their tilt with Raymore-Peculiar on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers out 64-62. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Panthers back in January, they had to take a 56-54 defeat.

The win got Liberty North back to even at 10-10. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles duke it out with the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Staley will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Liberty North surely won't give up without a fight. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lee's Summit West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
