The Paint Branch Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Walter Johnson Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Paint Branch came out on top against Sherwood by a score of 58-53 (the very same score they lost by the week prior).
Paint Branch relied on the efforts of Isaiah Lee, who scored 17 points, and Jordan Horm, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Horm continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dennis Tamnou, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Walter Johnson had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Northwood by a score of 58-47 on Monday.
Paint Branch's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Walter Johnson, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
