The Inglemoor Vikings lost against the Skyline Spartans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Inglemoor lost to Skyline at home by a decisive 62-45 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Inglemoor has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Inglemoor lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kieran Clasen. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with eight blocks and seven rebounds. Clasen also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Reuhen Bhalod was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Inglemoor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Skyline, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglemoor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mount Si at 8:15 p.m. on January 6th. One thing working in Mount Si's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. Skyline won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Issaquah at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th.
